NFL Week 17 Betting Predictions

Seahawks ML +108

The Jets get back Mike White, so they should be able to move the ball better, but in games with Mike White they still have not been great at finishing drives with touchdowns. The Seahawks have a very good pass defense, and while they’re not great at stopping the run, they were better last week and the Jets do not run the ball well, so they should be able to play better in that aspect. The Seahawks offense should have Tyler Lockett back, which helps their passing attack. The Jets defense is still good, but has not played as well the last 2 weeks. This should be a close game, but I’m riding with the Seahawks at home to win outright.

Bills Bengals over 49.5

I expected this over to be set at a higher number, but since we’re getting it at 49.5 I really like it. It should be a close game and although both defenses are good, I think Josh Allen and Joe Burrow will both have their offenses playing well enough to hit this over. I’m not betting the under in a game that involves Josh Allen and Joe Burrow.

49ers -9.5

The 49ers have been dominating teams ever since they lost to the Chiefs. Week in and week out their defense has performed well and gave opposing offenses misery. This week, the Raiders roll out Jarrett Stidham against the 49ers, which does not bode well for their chances of winning, let alone covering. The offense has been playing well under Purdy and the Raiders defense is nothing special, and have lost Denzel Perryman and Chandler Jones for the season. 49ers go on the road and cover.

Eagles -6.5

If Jalen Hurts is playing, I think the Eagles roll over the Saints and cover 6.5 without much struggle. He was back at practice, so that is a good sign. Although, if Minshew is starting, I could see the Saints covering, but not winning. Eagles are the better team in every aspect and should win this game. I am waiting on Hurts injury designation to place this.
