1. Kansas City Chiefs (8-2) –
The play-calling and skill position groupings were odd early in the game, but they committed to Isaiah Pacheco and the run game in the 2nd half, which had been working well all game, and Travis Kelce also pitched into the effort with 3 touchdowns.
2. Philadelphia Eagles (9-1) –
It was not a pretty win for the Eagles, but the defense stepped up in the 2nd half and the Eagles won a tight one vs the Colts. I’ll leave them at two for now, but if they continue to struggle , they could see a drop in the rankings soon, but they should be able to turn it around this week against the Packers.
3. Dallas Cowboys (7-3) (↑5)
Everything about the Cowboys performance was great. The rushing attack was phenomenal, Dak Prescott was efficient, and the defense shut down everything the Vikings offense tried to do and got tons of pressure on Kirk Cousins.
4. San Francisco 49ers (6-4) (↑1)
They put on a dominant performance on both sides of the ball and proved how good they can be when they are close to full health.
5. Buffalo Bills (7-3) (↑1)
The Bills offense started slow, but they actually committed to the run game and it worked well today, which is good news for them, as they did not have to rely too heavily on Josh Allen like they often do. The improved rushing attack should give them confidence heading into the latter half of the season.
6. Miami Dolphins (7-3) (↓2)
They host the Texans next week, which is a game they should win easily. They were on a bye week, but unfortunately they fell in the rankings because of how well the Cowboys, 49ers, and Bills played.
7. Cincinnati Bengals (6-4) (↑2)
The offense has learned how to find success without Ja’Marr Chase and has played well the past two weeks.
8. Tennessee Titans (7-3) (↑2)
The defense is very good and the offense was able to get their passing attack going against the Packers, while the rushing attack continued to do their job. This team is physical and can go toe-to-toe with every team in the league. They have a huge matchup in week 12, where they host the Bengals.
9. Baltimore Ravens (7-3) (↓2)
The defense played well, but the offense was very unimpressive, especially coming off of a bye week, which is not good to see.
10. Minnesota Vikings (8-2) (↓8)
I have been saying for a while that this team is not as good as their record claims, and that was shown against the Cowboys. The entire team was terrible and they were exposed.
11. Seattle Seahawks (6-4) –
Coming off of their bye week, they host the Raiders. From November on, it is vital to have a quality rushing attack, and I expect them to feed Kenneth Walker III a ton and lean on him down the stretch.
12. New England Patriots (6-4) –
The offense could not find the endzone against a tough Jets defense, but the Patriots defense put on an absolutely dominant performance.
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-5) (↑2)
The Bucs were on a bye week, but they get to move up in the rankings based on how some other teams played. Heading out of the bye week, I think we will see a slightly improved Bucs team that will make some adjustments.
14. Washington Commanders (6-5) (↑4)
The defense was outstanding today, especially defending the run, and has been playing well for a while now. Offensively, the rushing attack was solid, and once again, Taylor Heinicke was not that good, but the team won so he gets to keep his job.
15. New York Jets (6-4) (↓2)
The defense was great once again, but the offense was atrocious. After the game, it seemed that many players were frustrated with Zach Wilson for his performance and inability to take responsibility for his part in the loss. Robert Saleh will have to bring out all his tools in his bag to hold this team together and keep them confident down the stretch.
16. Los Angeles Chargers (5-5) (↑1)
They were able to be competitive with the Chiefs and the offense looked much better with Keenan Allen and Mike Williams back, although Williams re-injured his ankle early in the game. Unfortunately for them, the defense was unable to help them hold on to a lead and they lost a close game in the end.
17. New York Giants (7-3) (↓3)
If the other team is able to put up lots of points on the board, it is difficult for the Giants to keep up. Saquon Barkley did not have a good day, and to add insult to injury, Wan’Dale Robinson is out for the season, which hurts an already limited receiving core. I know the Giants started off with a good record, but I am still not convinced they are that good of a team.
18. Green Bay Packers (4-7) (↓2)
The defense struggled once again and the offense could not find a consistent rushing attack. When the Packers cannot run the ball efficiently, it is difficult for them to win games.
19. Detroit Lions (4-6) (↑4)
Now on a three game win streak and have an interesting matchup with the Bills on Thanksgiving.
20. Indianapolis Colts (4-6-1) –
The Colts defense played well, but the offense was unable to capitalize on opportunities.
21. Atlanta Falcons (5-6) (↑4)
Good win over another lackluster team, which keeps them in the division race, but they are not a legitimate contender.
22. Cleveland Browns (3-7) (↓1)
Almost clawed their way back and the passing attack was good, but they could not establish the rushing attack, which is rare to see from the Browns.
23. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-7) (↓1)
Coming off a bye week, they host the Ravens, which will be difficult, but it is a winnable game.
24. New Orleans Saints (4-7) (↑6)
Andy Dalton actually played well and the Saints were able to get a win at home.
25. Las Vegas Raiders (3-7) (↑6)
They earned a hard fought victory against a tough defense while being down two of their key pass-catchers in Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow, but Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs stepped up big time like the stars they have proven to be.
26. Arizona Cardinals (↓7)
They got dominated by a much better team on Monday Night Football.
27. Chicago Bears (3-8) (↓3)
The play calling often put Justin Fields and the offense in 3rd and long, which made it difficult to succeed, and just like many of the Bears games lately, they were close, but could not pull out a victory.
28. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-7) (↓1)
They were able to keep it interesting, but the offense was not good enough and the defense struggled to stop the Bengals offense.
29. Los Angeles Rams (3-7) (↓3)
Matt Stafford and Tutu Atwell connected on a deep ball early and the team did not look bad, but once Stafford got injured, there was not much hope for them.
30. Carolina Panthers (3-8) (↓2)
The defense did their part in keeping it close, but to no surprise, Baker Mayfield and the offense stunk.
31. Denver Broncos (3-7) (↓2)
Different week, same team.
32. Houston Texans (1-8-1) –
Different week, same team.
