Jaguars ML -108
Both teams are playing well lately, but I believe the Jaguars have more talent and I really like the progress and performance I am seeing from Trevor Lawrence lately. The Jaguars have more talent, the better quarterback, and the better head coach. I’m riding with the Jaguars on the road in this matchup.
Jets +3
Mike White and the Jets offense looked good last week, and while they were playing the Bears poor defense, the Vikings defense is not very good either. It is a better defense than the Bears, but the Jets should still be able to move the ball on them. The Jets have a very good defense and can get after the quarterback and stuff the run well, so it should be difficult for the Vikings offense to put a ton of points on the board. This will likely be a close matchup, but I am leaning towards the Jets to cover and also have a good chance of winning.
Eagles Titans under 44.5
The Titans are not a very high scoring team and like to run the ball and control the clock, which I believe they will be able to do well enough in this matchup. The Eagles also like to run the ball, but the Titans do a pretty good job of stopping the run. Since both teams like to run their offense through the run game, I think the clock could be running quickly. Both defenses will be able to step up and get stops, which leads me to believe this could be a low scoring, physical affair. If the line moves back to Titans +5.5, I would also likely place that.
Broncos Ravens under 39.5
Everybody is aware that the Broncos offense is terrible and they have not shown anything to make me think they can turn it around, so they should not score many points. The Ravens offense has not been very good lately, as they have struggled in the rushing attack and lack weapons on the outside, which has also caused the passing attack to be ineffective. The Broncos also have a very good defense and it probably won’t be easy for the Ravens to put a ton of points on the board. The Ravens should win this one, but the money line does not provide value, so I am going with the under.
Chargers Raiders over 50.5
The Raiders offense has been clicking lately and the Chargers defense is not great right now. They are vulnerable in the run game and Josh Jacobs is coming off a game with over 200 rushing yards, and they should be able to continue running the ball well this week. The passing attack should also be good, and I anticipate Davante Adams to have a large effect on the game. The Chargers will likely be without Mike Williams, but I still like Justin Herbert to lead the offense and think they should be able to put enough points on the board. This should be an exciting, down to the wire football game, hopefully with a lot of points.
