1. Kansas City Chiefs (9-2) –
The Chiefs had another great performance in a game they should have won handily, which they did.
2. Philadelphia Eagles (10-1) –
The Eagles completely dominated on the ground with 363 rushing yards and won a big game in primetime. The defense was not great, as the Packers still put up 33 points, but they were able to get two interceptions, which were key aspects in the victory. The pass offense could still use some work, as it has not been great since Dallas Goedert got injured, but if the run game is working, don’t stop running it.
3. Dallas Cowboys (8-3) –
The offense continued to look great in the rushing and passing attack, and the defense came up clutch in the 2nd half. A key to the Cowboys success is being able to get leads and pass rush more often than defend the run. Although in their great win over the Giants, they came from behind in the 2nd half and stopped the run well, which is good for their confidence.
4. San Francisco 49ers (7-4) –
The offense did not look great, but the defense put on an amazing performance that led to a shutout. Elijah Mitchell sprained his MCL and will miss time, but they traded for Christian McCaffrey and are now forced to use him more often.
5. Buffalo Bills (8-3) –
The win over the Lions was closer than they would like, but Josh Allen was able to step up big time in the fourth quarter and overtime and lead them to victory, much like he always has to do. The pass defense is a concern and the injury to Von Miller does not help that, so it will be interesting to see how they respond and adjust.
6. Miami Dolphins (8-3) –
The offense was spectacular in the first half and they cruised to an easy win.
7. Cincinnati Bengals (7-4) –
They earned a big one without Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Mixon, which was very impressive. The offense was able to move the ball enough and the defense stepped up big time and limited Derrick Henry’s ability to earn rushing yards. Besides Henry’s catch and run and the deep shot to Treylon Burks, the Titans did not play very well on offense. This was a great close win for the Bengals.
8. Minnesota Vikings (9-2) (↑2)
The offense bounced back and had a great performance against a tough defense, especially Justin Jefferson, who was beating double team coverages. This was a good win for the Vikings and definitely boosted their confidence after an embarrassing performance against the Cowboys.
9. Tennessee Titans (7-4) (↓1)
The Titans winning formula is dangerous because if Derrick Henry cannot get going in the run game, like they were unable to yesterday, it is difficult for them to win games.
10. New York Jets (7-4) (↑5)
Mike White and the Jets offense had a great day, albeit it was against the Bears defense, but nonetheless, it was still a vast improvement on how they have played lately. The defense played great once again and if both sides of the ball can play up to par, the Jets can be a very competitive team.
11. Baltimore Ravens (7-4) (↓2)
The Ravens defense has struggled to hold on to leads in all of their losses, which is not good for a team of their caliber and heading into the playoff race.
12. New England Patriots (6-5) –
Although they lost, it was good to see their offense be able to keep up in a high scoring game. On the other side of the ball, the defense was not as good as they are capable of, and the Patriots hurt themselves with some crucial penalties, which is rare for a Bill Belichick-coached team.
13. Washington Commanders (7-5) (↑1)
The defense earned another big win, but the offense has clear limitations — Taylor Heinicke.
14. Seattle Seahawks (6-5) (↓3)
The passing attack was good but it was strange to see them veer away from the run game. Defensively, they didn’t play well and allowed Josh Jacobs to have a field day. They are still a good team, but this playoff race should be challenging for them.
15. Los Angeles Chargers (6-5) (↑1)
They earned a close victory over the Cardinals and Justin Herbert had another outstanding performance. This was a big win to get them back over .500 and get them in the hunt.
16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-6) (↓3)
They should have won this game but did not. They could have ran the ball much better, the offense did not do enough, and the defense could not hold on in the end. All around a disappointing effort out of their bye week.
17. New York Giants (7-4) –
They had a lead at halftime but could not hold on. Daniel Jones faced tons of pressure and they could not run the ball. The defense did not play well. Another week where the Giants record lies.
18. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-7) (↑5)
The Jaguars have proven they are able to keep up with other teams because they have a good amount of talent on their roster, and earned a big comeback victory. Trevor Lawrence has played well this season and is improving each week.
19. Cleveland Browns (4-7) (↑3)
They earned a victory behind Nick Chubb and his rushing abilities and the defense stepped up and played better than it normally does. This was a solid win for the Browns, who get QB Deshaun Watson back this week.
20. Las Vegas Raiders (4-7) (↑5)
They earned a huge victory behind Josh Jacobs’ 303 total yards and 2 touchdowns, including a walkoff 86-yard rushing TD in overtime.
21. Green Bay Packers (4-8) (↓3)
The offense was able to move the ball and put 33 points on the board, but the defense allowed 363 rushing yards and gave up 40 points, which is embarrassing. That is unacceptable at the NFL level.
22. Detroit Lions (4-7) (↓3)
They forced overtime against a very good team, but it was not enough at the end of the day and they could not come away with the win.
23. Arizona Cardinals (4-8) (↑3)
They kept it close until the end, but the defense could not hold on in the end and lost a close one.
24. Carolina Panthers (4-8) (↑6)
Sam Darnold was solid, the rushing attack worked well, and the defense was good. Good win for the Panthers.
25. Atlanta Falcons (5-7) (↓4)
Pretty much the same thing we see from the Falcons each week.
26. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-7) (↑1)
The defense stepped up and helped them earn the victory.
27. Chicago Bears (3-9) –
No Justin Fields this week hurt the offense and the defense was bad once again.
28. Indianapolis Colts (4-7-1) (↓8)
Matt Ryan, I think it’s time to hang up the cleats. Also to note that on the final drive, Jeff Saturday chose to save those timeouts for next week. Bad performance all around.
29. New Orleans Saints (4-8) (↓5)
They were shutout and looked terrible on offense once again. For God’s sake, please get Andy Dalton off the field.
30. Los Angeles Rams (3-8) (↓1)
This season cannot get much worse for the Rams.
31. Denver Broncos (3-8) –
Another terrible performance from the Broncos and defensive lineman Mike Purcell let Russell Wilson know about it on the sideline.
32. Houston Texans (1-9-1) –
