Chiefs Seahawks over 49.5
Both of these offenses have proven they can move the ball well and put points on the board. Also, their defenses have shown that they are not consistently great units and can give up yards and points. For the Chiefs, I think they will be able to run and pass all over the Seahawks and could have a field day. The Seahawks run defense is not good and their pass defense has holes that the Chiefs should be able to attack. The Seahawks are without Tyler Lockett, but will still remain aggressive in their downfield passing attack. They should also be able to maintain a consistent rushing attack. I could see tons of points in this affair and it should be a fun game to watch. For player props in this game, I placed Travis Kelce over 80.5 receiving yards, over 6.5 receptions, and Isiah Pacheco over 69.5 rushing yards, with more possibly on the way.
Lions -2.5
The Lions are hot and have found a great rhythm on offense. Their passing attack is looking great and their rushing attack is good. Also, their defense has stepped up lately and been defending the run well, while playing very aggressive all over the field. The Panthers did not run the ball well last week, which does not hold well for this week’s matchup. The Panthers also have not defended the run very well, which is why I placed a small wager on Jamaal Williams TD at +130, as well as an even smaller wager on Jamaal Williams 2+ TDs at +750.
Bengals -3
The Bengals are the better team and are trending in the right direction. The Patriots are coming off a heartbreaking loss and are not as good as the Bengals. Mac Jones and Matt Patricia do not get along and there is a clear miscommunication between them, and the offense as a whole is not running smoothly. The Patriots usually stop the run well, and the game could be close for a while, but I think the Bengals passing attack will eventually get hot and overwhelm the Patriots. Player props I like in this game are Ja’Marr Chase over 69.5 receiving yards and Tee Higgins over 4.5 receptions at -108 odds.
Bills Bears 40.5
I understand that the weather conditions could have a major factor, as it will be cold and windy. Although, the Bears clearly love to run the ball and they could very well be able to run on the Bills. The Bills are giving up 6.5 YPC on outside runs and while they have a good defense, I think the Bears will be able to run the ball well enough and score while doing so. The Bills do not always take weather and wind into account when calling plays because their quarterback, Josh Allen, throws lasers that the wind does not affect. He is also a great runner and will likely need to use his legs at times. It is a dangerous time of the year, as weather turns into a big factor, but I think these teams will still be able to put enough points on the board in this matchup. Along with this, I am also placing a half unit on Josh Allen over 50.5 rushing yards and Josh Allen over 219.5 passing yards. The passing number is low because of the weather, but I believe they will still have a passing attack because they have willingly done so in bad weather in the past.
