Week 6 NFL Betting Predictions

Patriots +2.5 (+100)

The Patriots rushing attack is on fire and the Browns just had a bad day against the Chargers rushing attack, which is not as efficient as the Patriots. The Patriots defense has also been playing well and just held the Lions to 0 points. While the Browns do have a great rushing attack themselves, I think the Patriots will be able to slow down the passing attack and do enough to keep the game close, ultimately covering the 2.5 point spread, and I also believe they will win outright.

Seahawks +2.5 (-105)

The Seahawks offense is playing very well right now with Geno Smith leading the way. Rashaad Penny is a talented player and is out for the season, but Kenneth Walker III is also a talented back and should step into that RB1 role nicely in that offense. The Cardinals have shown at times that they are a good team, but they are not consistent. It is a divisional game where the Seahawks get to play at home in front of their raucous crowd. The Seahawks defense is not playing well, but the offense will keep them in this game and possibly prevail them to a win.

Jets +7.5 (-115)

The Packers are not playing as well as they should right now and are coming off of a bad loss, where they gave up a 2nd half comeback, while the Jets are playing with confidence right now. The Jets defense is playing well and the Packers could struggle a bit to move the ball throughout the day. The Jets run game on offense has been good, and as long as Zach Wilson can make the smart plays and limit mistakes, the Jets offense will be able to move the ball and keep it close, on a Packers defense that has shown its vulnerability. While I think the Packers should win this one, I think the Jets keep it close and cover.

Bengals Saints over 43 (-110)

I do not have all the facts to necessarily back this one up, but it is more of a gut feeling. I have been all over the Bengals offense for their lack of creativity, but the Saints defense has looked a little shaky, and they could find a spark this week. There is also some extra motivation for Joe Burrow and Ja’marr Chase to go back to Louisiana and want to perform well. As for the Saints, they go up against a good Bengals defense, but they gained some confidence last week with outstanding performances from Taysom Hill and Alvin Kamara. Also, if Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry, and/or Chris Olave are able to suit up, that will definitely help their offense.

As always, I will be placing more bets, mostly props, as we get closer to Sunday (You can find these bets on my twitter @JohnWilsonSport). The Bills-Chiefs game will be very exciting and I will be placing tons of props for that one, but the over/under is risky (54) and the spread is too big for my liking (2.5). The matchup contains two great teams and could go either way.

Always remember to bet responsibly.
