Week 7 NFL Betting Predictions

The Jets defense had a huge day against the Packers and I think they continue to roll. But, I also like the Packers in a redemption spot. Photo courtesy of Morry Gash, Associated Press

Thursday Night plays

Saints +3 -110

Alvin Kamara TD +125

Alvin Kamara over 63.5 rushing yards -110

Chris Olave over 4.5 catches -102

Risk Free SGP:

Kamara o 63.5 rush yards

Kamara TD

Olave 60+ receiving yards

I like what I’ve seen from the Saints offense lately, all while depleted with injuries, as they have been able to put points up on the board and get their run game going. I envision a big day for Alvin Kamara and think he has a big day. I also like Chris Olave returning and think they make sure to get him involved. The Cardinals offense has been struggling, and although DeAndre Hopkins returns, Marquise Brown is also out. There seems to be a disconnect between Kyler Murray, Kliff Kingsbury, and the whole offensive unit. I see the Saints covering the +3 and also winning this game on the road.

Packers -4.5

The Packers have been struggling lately, but they have a great opportunity to turn it around this week. The Commanders are an inconsistent football team that is heading into this game with Taylor Heinicke at the quarterback position because of the injury to Carson Wentz. Aaron Rodgers and his team know that they have to get this season turned around before it is too late, as they are falling behind in their division. This is the week the Packers take a step in the right direction.

Jets +1.5

The Jets are rolling right now and the Broncos are doing the complete opposite. Starting with the Broncos, I acknowledge that their defense is very good and keeping them in games, but they are doing all the work to keep this team close in games and have to be getting frustrated. Although, they will still make it tough for the Jets offense. But, the Broncos offense is horrible. Russell Wilson is struggling and playing with hamstring and shoulder injuries, Melvin Gordon and the running back situation is messy, and Nathaniel Hackett does not have his unit in order. As for the Jets, their defense is hot and can continue that against the lackluster Broncos’ offense, and their rushing attack is very good and should help the offense move the ball. As long as the run game is working well enough and Zach Wilson can take care of the ball well enough, the Jets should be able to cover and win this game. The Jets are the better football team right now and I am riding with them.

Colts Titans over 42

This is the 2nd matchup between these two teams. In the first matchup, the Titans were able to win 24-17, and both teams have been able to make adjustments. The Colts offense hit a spark last week and were able to get their passing game going, which is a good sign for them. Also, Jonathan Taylor may return this week. The Titans have been a solid football team and they are coming off of a bye, where they had time to rest and adjust. These teams have figured out ways to adjust heading into this matchup and I feel that they will both be able to put enough points on the board to get over 42 points, in what should be a good football game to watch.

Patriots -7.5

The Patriots defense has been stellar the past two weeks. Justin Fields and the Bears passing attack is very bad. Their rushing attack has shown it can be good at times, but the Patriots should be able to slow it down. On offense for the Patriots, Mac Jones is expected to return, which is great news. Their rushing attack has been spectacular lately and I see that continuing this week against the Bears defense, which is not a great all-around unit. Also, Bill Belichick gave out tons of compliments to the players on the Bears roster and their coaching staff. You know what that means.

As always, more prop bets will be placed as we get closer to Sunday.

Always remember to bet responsibly.
