Week 7 NFL Power Rankings

1. Buffalo Bills (5-1) –

They earned a huge victory over the Chiefs where MVP frontrunner Josh Allen played great. There is no glaring weakness to their team.

2. Philadelphia Eagles (6-0) (↑1)

Huge divisional win over a tough Cowboys team where they continued to play well.

3. Kansas City Chiefs (4-2) (↓2)

Suffered a tough loss to the best team in the league, but played the game very close and are still a great team with the ability to dominate many teams.

4. Minnesota Vikings (5-1) (↑5)

This is not a convincing #4 team and I do not love putting them here, but they have played well and are 5-1, but I am not sure how long it will last.

5. Dallas Cowboys (4-2) (↑2)

Tough loss to the Eagles, but fought back and made it a close game. Cooper Rush struggled and they are glad to get Dak Prescott back this week.

6. San Francisco 49ers (3-3) (↓2)

I know they lost to the Falcons, but they were down many starters to injuries and they are still a very good team when healthy, and they should get back some vital pieces this week, including Nick Bosa, Trent Williams, Jimmie Ward, and Jason Verrett all possibly returning this week.

7. Cincinnati Bengals (3-3) (↑4)

Finally able to get the offense going more consistently and the defense is a good unit. I like the trajectory this team is on and their next three matchups before their bye week include the Falcons, Browns, and Panthers, which are all winnable games.

8. New York Giants (5-1) (↑5)

Brian Daboll has his team playing great and they were able to make enough big plays to beat a talented Ravens team. It’s not a pretty 5-1, but it is a tough, competitive, underdog type of 5-1.

9. New York Jets (4-2) (↑7)

The defense is for real, the rushing attack is dominating, and Zach Wilson is taking care of the football. This is a young, hungry team that has an underrated roster. Do not be surprised if they continue their hot streak.

10. Los Angeles Chargers (4-2) (↓2)

The Chargers were able to pull off a tight victory in their division, but the offense was not efficient and the team is still struggling with injuries. They are sitting at 4-2, which is a plus, but I do not have tons of confidence with this team down the stretch.

11. Baltimore Ravens (3-3) (↓5)

The offense had a great day on the ground and played a close game with the Giants, but Lamar Jackson made two crucial turnovers in the 4th quarter, which hurt their chances of winning. I still like this team, but they need to get better at closing out games.

12. New England Patriots (3-3) (↑3)

Watch out. The Patriots are back at .500 and the rushing attack is working well, the passing attack is solid, and the defense has dominated the past 2 weeks. Do not sleep on this team.

13. Tennessee Titans (3-2) (↑1)

Coming off of their bye week, they host the Colts this week in their 2nd matchup of the year with them.

14. Green Bay Packers (3-3) (↓4)

The offense is struggling because of their lack of weapons and they are not running the ball frequently enough. The defense is struggling to stop the run. The coaching is not as good as it could be. They have an opportunity to turn it around this week, as the defense has a good matchup against a poor offense that is rolling out a backup quarterback. Although, the offense could possibly continue to struggle, as the offensive line must go against the Washington front four, who has been very good this season.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-3) (↓10)

The offense is struggling with communication and execution, which is rare from a Tom Brady-led unit, but there are questions surrounding his commitment to the team, which is also very rare. They suffered a loss against a team they should have beat, and they better kick it into gear this week against an even worse team.

16. Miami Dolphins (3-3) (↓4)

Tua should return this week, which will allow for a more fair evaluation of this team.

17. Atlanta Falcons (3-3) (↑5)

They were able to pull off a big win this week and have been out-playing their talent, which is impressive work from the coaching staff.

18. Las Vegas Raiders (1-4) –

Coming off of their bye week, they get a fresh reset and a winnable game this week against the Texans to get back on track.

19. New Orleans Saints (2-4) (↓2)

The roster has tons of injuries to key players, but they still do not look bad. Although, at 2-4, they must turn it around quickly, and will need depth guys to step up in order to do so.

20. Los Angeles Rams (3-3) (↓1)

Earned a victory this week but still do not like what I see. Also, they suffered another injury on the offensive line, which is horrible news, as that area has already been struggling mightily.

21. Indianapolis Colts (3-2-1) (↑5)

The offense finally got it going this week and were able to get a win, but the defense was not very good. The record shows this team may be better than what it really is, but record is what matters at the end of the season.

22. Seattle Seahawks (3-3) (↑2)

They did not look great on offense but were able to do enough to win a low-scoring affair, with rookie RB Kenneth Walker III having a good day on the ground. The defense finally played well, but it was against a struggling Arizona offense, so take it with a grain of salt.

23. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-4) (↑2)

Huge upset victory over the Bucs that could spark a turnaround for a team that has been struggling.

24. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-4) (↓3)

Since beating the Chargers 38-10, they are 0-3 and have looked good while doing so. The offense looked better against the Colts, but the defense did not play well. I am still not out on this team, but they need to turn it around before they fall too far behind.

25. Cleveland Browns (2-4) (↓2)

This team could have a better record if they were coached better and had better execution in late-game situations. If they cannot run the ball consistently, they will struggle.

26. Arizona Cardinals (2-4) (↓6)

The offense is struggling and Kyler Murray has voiced his frustration. They have a quick turnaround this week and need to figure something out quickly.

27. Washington Commanders (2-4) (↑1)

Carson Wentz is out for multiple weeks and Taylor Heinicke will be taking over, which does not give me much confidence for this team.

28. Denver Broncos (2-4) (↓1)

The defense is playing well and keeping games close, but the offense is horrible and cannot get anything positive going.

29. Detroit Lions (1-4) (↑1)

Coming off of a bye week.

30. Houston Texans (1-3-1) (↑1)

Coming off of a bye week.

31. Chicago Bears (2-4) (↓1)

Only able to put up 7 points and did not execute well.

32. Carolina Panthers (1-5) –

Continue to not be a good football team.
