1. Buffalo Bills (6-1) –
Great win over the Packers that could have had a larger score differential if Josh Allen did not throw 2 interceptions in the 2nd half. Still a great team, but they could work on closing out games in a cleaner manner.
2. Philadelphia Eagles (7-0) –
Another dominant performance over the Steelers and I have no issue with them being ranked 1st, but I still believe the Bills are the better team.
3. Kansas City Chiefs (5-2) –
Host the Titans on Sunday night football and add Kadarius Toney to their arsenal of weapons, which is an acquisition I loved.
4. Minnesota Vikings (6-1) –
Their win over the Cardinals was one of their more impressive wins and they earned the right to stay at #4.
5. Dallas Cowboys (6-2) –
The offense cooked the Bears behind a 3 touchdown performance from Tony Pollard and the defense also pitched in with a score of their own.
6. San Francisco 49ers (4-4) (↑4)
Christian McCaffery had a huge day to boost this offense to a dominant win over the Rams. The defense also had a great day.
7. Baltimore Ravens (5-3) (↑1)
With many players on offense injured, backups stepped up and allowed the team to earn a big victory over the Bucs.
8. Tennessee Titans (5-2) (↑1)
Derrick Henry and the Titans rushing attack is officially hot, watch out. The defense has also improved since their rough start. Although this week, they have a difficult task, as they head to Kansas City to face Andy Reid and the Chiefs coming off a bye week, and Andy Reid is known for his teams playing very well off of a bye week.
9. Cincinnati Bengals (4-4) (↓3)
A tough loss to the Browns where they looked terrible. The defense could not stop the run and the offense struggled to get much going, and the loss of Ja’Marr Chase to an injury clearly hurt the team.
10. Miami Dolphins (5-3) (↑2)
The defense did not play well overall, but the offense was able to take advantage of the Lions’ poor defense and came back to win the game.
11. Seattle Seahawks (5-3) (↑2)
Earned a big victory over the Giants where both sides of the ball were efficient/
12. New York Giants (6-2) (↓5)
If the rushing attack struggles, it is difficult for this team to win games.
13. New England Patriots (4-4) (↑6)
The offense continues to run the ball well and Mac Jones had a solid day through the air. The defense stopped the run well, but gave up a large amount of yards through the air, but were able to capitalize off of some easy interceptions.
14. New York Jets (5-3) (↓3)
Zach Wilson continues to make a great play and then follow it up with a poor one consistently. The rushing attack could not get going, which makes it difficult for this team to win games.
15. Los Angeles Chargers (4-3) –
The Chargers had the opportunity to reset during their bye week and head to Atlanta in week 9.
16. Atlanta Falcons (4-4) (↑5)
Earned a big win and now hold first place in their division, but I am not confident it lasts very long.
17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5) –
They showed fight in their last game and the passing attack was better, but their rushing attack is nonexistent.
18. Green Bay Packers (3-5) (↓2)
The rushing attack was very good and although they lost, they may have finally realized if they commit to the run, they can find ways to win games.
19. Cleveland Browns (3-5) (↑6)
A dominant performance over their division rival, where they proved they are a better team than their record claims.
20. Arizona Cardinals (3-5) (↓2)
They were able to keep it close with the Vikings but could not do enough to get the win. They are not a great team but they can keep it close with many other teams.
21. Los Angeles Rams (3-4) (↓1)
Different week, same problems with the offense. The defense did not play well but they tend to struggle often with the 49ers.
22. New Orleans Saints (3-5) (↑4)
The defense vastly improved and were able to shut down everything the Raiders tried to do on their way to pitching a shutout.
23. Washington Commanders (4-4) –
They earned a victory but it was not convincing. But, a win is still a win and they are 4-4.
24. Oakland Raiders (2-5) (↓10)
I thought the Raiders were hitting their stride, but they came out against the Saints and put up a goose egg. The offense did not do anything well and the defense could not stop Alvin Kamara.
25. Denver Broncos (3-5) (↑5)
The defense struggled to stop the run, but the offense actually did enough to win the game.
26. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) (↓2)
This team shows spurts of quality play but lacks consistency on both sides of the ball.
27. Chicago Bears (3-5) (↓5)
The defense got torched this past week, but Chase Claypool should definitely help the passing attack.
28. Carolina Panthers (2-6) (↑1)
The offense has played well lately and they almost won, but came up short because of their kicker.
29. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-6) (↓2)
30. Indianapolis Colts (3-4-1) (↓2)
31. Houston Texans (1-5-1)
32. Detroit Lions (1-6)
Nothing good to say about these last four teams at the moment.
